2026 triumph scrambler 400x baja orange: Triumph Motorcycles is all set to spice up the Scrambler 400X lineup with a bold and stylish new colour option. The 2026 model of the Triumph Scrambler 400X has just been unveiled internationally, and the biggest talking point is its brand-new Baja Orange shade.
This exciting new paint scheme is expected to arrive in India shortly, following Triumph’s recent trend of introducing international colours to the Indian market, like it did with the Speed 400 T4.
Let’s take a closer look at what’s new — and what remains unchanged — with this upcoming refresh.
Highlights of the New Baja Orange Scrambler 400X
Triumph’s new Baja Orange colour makes a bold statement. It features a bright orange fuel tank with a contrasting silver stripe running down the centre, along with the iconic Triumph logo. The rest of the bike gets an all-black treatment, including the body panels and frame. Standing out even more are the golden upside-down forks and a silver front fender that add a dash of premium flair.
Mechanically, the Scrambler 400X continues with the same trusted and capable setup. It features a 43mm upside-down front fork with 150mm of travel, along with a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. The bike rolls on a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, both wrapped in block-pattern, dual-purpose tyres that are ready for a mix of tarmac and light off-road use.
In terms of tech and features, Triumph hasn’t cut any corners. The Scrambler 400X is equipped with a ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, dual-channel ABS that can also be turned off, a semi-digital instrument cluster, full LED lighting, and even a Type-C charging port for added convenience on the go.
The new colour option doesn’t bring any updates to the engine. The 2026 Scrambler 400X continues to be powered by a 398cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the engine also gets an assist and slipper clutch for smooth gear transitions and better control under hard braking or rapid downshifts.
Expected India Launch
While Triumph hasn’t officially confirmed the India launch date for the Baja Orange Scrambler 400X, it is widely expected to arrive in the country within the next few months. Given that the company recently introduced a new shade for the Speed 400 shortly after its global debut, the Scrambler 400X is likely to follow a similar timeline.
So if you’ve been eyeing the Scrambler 400X, you might want to hold off just a little longer, that eye-catching Baja Orange version is on its way.
