Bharat Mobility Expo 2027 Scheduled for February: Key Details You Need to Know

Bharat Mobility Expo 2027 Scheduled for February

India’s largest mobility event is all set to make a grand return in 2027. The Ministry of Commerce has officially confirmed that the third edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo (BMGE) will be held from February 4 to February 9, 2027, across multiple venues in Delhi-NCR.

After hosting the first two editions in back-to-back years (2024 and 2025), the upcoming event will now follow its originally planned biennial cycle — giving manufacturers more breathing room for preparation and innovation.

Highlights

  • BMGE 2027 to be held from February 4-9 across Delhi-NCR
  • Dedicated pavilion for multi-modal mobility and logistics to be introduced
  • Event will be hosted across three major venues: Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi and India Expo Mart
  • Organized by EEPC with support from SIAM, ACMA, NASSCOM and others

Why the Shift to a Biennial Format?

Although initially envisioned as a biennial show, both the 2024 and 2025 editions of BMGE were organized annually. However, in a post-event statement in early 2025, then Additional Secretary of the Department of Commerce, Rajesh Agrawal, acknowledged that future editions may return to a two-year format. His comments reflected the government’s intention to shape the expo based on industry feedback and ensure it delivers value to all stakeholders.

This move aligns with global trends too. Iconic international auto shows in cities like Frankfurt, Geneva and Detroit have also either downsized, restructured or changed schedules in recent years, with the automotive industry increasingly leaning toward brand-focused experiences rather than large-scale public events.

The 2027 edition is expected to build on the momentum of previous shows, while introducing new areas of focus. One of the key additions this time around will be a dedicated section for “multi-modal mobility and logistics.”

This area will showcase solutions and innovations related to road, rail, air, water, urban and rural transportation. A special focus will also be placed on tractors and agricultural mobility, recognizing India’s deep rural connect and agricultural reliance.

Along with massive exhibition floors, the event will also feature panel discussions, expert talks, and B2B meetings. Stakeholders from automobile OEMs, startups, policymakers, technology firms, and researchers are expected to gather to exchange ideas, form partnerships and shape the future of India’s mobility ecosystem.

Venues Spread Across Delhi-NCR

To accommodate its growing scale, BMGE 2027 will be held across three major venues in the Delhi-NCR region:

  • Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi
  • Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Dwarka
  • India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida

These venues were successfully used during the 2025 edition and provide enough space for product displays, test zones, conferences and interactive exhibits. The multi-location format also helps in managing large crowds and offering diverse industry segments their own focused space.

Organizers and Supporters

BMGE 2027 is an industry-driven initiative, spearheaded by the Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC). Several leading industry bodies are supporting the event, including:

  • SIAM (Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers)
  • ACMA (Automotive Component Manufacturers Association)
  • ATMA (Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association)
  • NASSCOM
  • CII (Confederation of Indian Industry)

Their joint efforts aim to showcase India’s growing capabilities in automotive and mobility tech, while also encouraging global investments and collaborations.

With its scale, industry backing and future-focused themes, Bharat Mobility Expo 2027 promises to be a major highlight on the international mobility calendar.
