A New Chapter for Tata’s EV Journey
The Harrier.ev marks a bold step in Tata Motors’ electrification strategy. Built on the brand’s acti.ev+ platform, this electric SUV is designed for performance, practicality and connected technology. Unlike typical front-wheel drive EVs in the segment, the Harrier.ev will be offered in both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and quad-motor all-wheel drive (QWD) versions, giving it a significant edge in versatility and handling.
This dual-motor QWD configuration is expected to deliver exceptional torque and traction, making the Harrier.ev suitable for a wide range of Indian road conditions.

Tata has pulled out all the stops when it comes to the Harrier.ev’s feature list. Some of the standout features include:

Special STEALTH Edition & Colour Options
In addition to its regular trims, Tata will also offer a special “STEALTH Edition” of the Harrier.ev. This variant features matte black paint, all-black interiors and subtle design enhancements for a more aggressive and modern appearance.
Colour options available at launch will include:
- Nainital Nocturne (deep midnight blue)
- Empowered Oxide (copper grey)

What’s Next?
With production now underway, the Harrier.ev is expected to reach showrooms across India by mid-July. Bookings are likely to open very soon. Pricing has not yet been officially confirmed, but it’s expected to start from around ₹28 lakh and go up to ₹35 lakh for higher trims.
