Volkswagen India has rolled out massive offers this month across its popular models, including the Virtus sedan, Taigun SUV, and the recently launched flagship, Tiguan R Line.
These discounts, which include cash offers, exchange bonuses and loyalty benefits, are applicable for the entire month of July 2025 and vary based on variant, model year and city. If you were planning to buy a VW car, this might just be the best time.
Highlights
VW Tiguan R Line gets a massive Rs 3 lakh discount just 3 months after launch
Virtus now available with up to Rs 2 lakh worth of benefits
Taigun offers go up to Rs 2.5 lakh depending on variant

Tiguan R Line: ₹3 Lakh Off Within 3 Months
In a surprising move, Volkswagen is offering up to ₹3 lakh worth of benefits on its premium SUV, the Tiguan R Line, which was launched just three months ago. Out of the total discount, ₹2 lakh is a flat cash offer, with the remaining amount comprising exchange or loyalty bonuses.
The Tiguan R Line is priced at ₹49 lakh (ex-showroom) and is imported as a CBU (Completely Built Unit), making it Volkswagen India’s current flagship SUV. The sudden discount indicates either a push to boost sales or clear stock ahead of the upcoming festive season.
The Virtus sedan, currently priced between ₹11.56 lakh and ₹19.40 lakh (ex-showroom), is being offered with generous discounts across its variant lineup:
The 1.0 TSI Topline AT gets benefits up to ₹2 lakh.
Highline trim is now available at a special price of ₹12.77 lakh along with bonuses of ₹70,000.
Base Comfortline 1.0 TSI MT (originally ₹11.56 lakh) is now being sold at just ₹10.54 lakh.
GT Line trims get ₹50,000 off.
The top-end GT 1.5 TSI DSG Chrome variant is available at a reduced price of ₹18.80 lakh (₹35,000 lower) with ₹70,000 in additional offers.
GT Plus Sport trims come with discounts up to ₹1.10 lakh.
Volkswagen’s compact SUV, the Taigun, is available with discounts up to ₹2.50 lakh in July 2025:
Topline 1.0 TSI AT sees the biggest discount of ₹2.5 lakh.
Highline and GT Line trims receive ₹1.12 lakh and ₹1.30 lakh in benefits, respectively.
Base Comfortline is now available at ₹10.99 lakh, ₹80,000 less than its original price.
GT 1.5 TSI (Chrome and Sport trims) variants get up to ₹2.44 lakh off, applicable across both manual and DSG transmission options.
With such attractive offers on the table, Volkswagen seems to be aggressively targeting buyers in the mid-size and premium car segments this month. However, since discounts vary by city and stock availability, it’s advisable to contact your nearest dealership for exact figures.
