
Tata Motors has officially kick-started production of its much-awaited electric SUV, the Harrier EV. The EV is being manufactured at the brand’s Pimpri plant in Pune, Maharashtra. Bookings opened on July 2, and the company has already crossed 10,000 reservations, indicating strong interest from buyers across India.

Stylish Debut: First Harrier EV Rolls Off the Line
The very first production-spec Harrier EV has rolled out in a classy “Nainital Nocturne” shade. Customers will also get to choose from other attractive color options including Empowered Oxide, Pristine White, and Pure Grey. Additionally, Tata is offering a stealthier and sportier look with the Matte Black “Stealth Edition”.
Pricing for the standard variants of the Harrier EV ranges from ₹21.49 lakh to ₹28.99 lakh (ex-showroom). For those opting for the exclusive Stealth Edition, prices start from ₹28.24 lakh and go up to ₹29.74 lakh (ex-showroom).

Dual Battery Options, Class-Leading Range
One of the key highlights of the Tata Harrier EV is the availability of two different battery pack configurations:
- 65 kWh Battery Pack – Claimed range of up to 538 km
- 75 kWh Battery Pack – Claimed range of up to 627 km (FWD) and 622 km (AWD)
What makes the Harrier EV stand out even more is that it’s Tata’s first-ever electric car to feature an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. This system is available exclusively with the larger 75 kWh battery pack. Not only does it enhance traction and stability, but it also ensures the Harrier EV is ready for tougher terrains or more adventurous weekend getaways.
