Domestic & Export Sales Breakdown
In India, Royal Enfield sold 76,957 motorcycles in June 2025, a 16% YoY rise compared to 66,117 units in June 2024. The volume increase of 10,840 units showcases consistent demand for the brand’s retro-styled cruisers and roadsters. The company’s bread and butter — the 350cc segment bikes like the Classic 350, Hunter 350, and Bullet 350 — remain the primary drivers of these numbers.
Interestingly, Royal Enfield’s export numbers posted a stellar performance. The brand shipped 12,583 units overseas in June 2025 — up from just 7,024 units in June 2024, translating to a 79% YoY increase and a volume gain of 5,559 units. This confirms Royal Enfield’s growing appeal in international markets including Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia.
Looking at the bigger picture, Royal Enfield’s year-to-date (YTD) sales from April to June 2025 stood at 2,65,528 units. This is a 17% growth compared to 2,26,907 units sold during the same period last year. Domestic YTD sales accounted for 2,28,779 units, up 12% from 2,04,686 units. Export numbers also shined, recording 36,749 units — a 65% leap from 22,221 units shipped in Q1 FY2024–25.
Royal Enfield’s CEO and Eicher Motors’ MD, B. Govindarajan, commented, “We saw strong double-digit growth in June, reflecting the steady momentum we have built across markets. Our motorcycles continue to perform well, driven by a growing global community of riders.”
Himalayan Odyssey 2025 & Sustainability Push
June also witnessed the 21st edition of Royal Enfield’s legendary Himalayan Odyssey. The 18-day expedition, flagged off on June 30, saw 77 riders embarking from Chandigarh to the Siachen Base Camp. Covering over 2,600 km across Ladakh, Spiti, Zanskar, and Umling La — the world’s highest motorable pass — the journey reinforces Royal Enfield’s adventurous DNA.
In addition, the company launched its Conscious Collection apparel line under the Green Pursuit initiative. Crafted using recycled materials, Himalayan grass fiber, and organic cotton, this sustainable clothing range is naturally dyed and celebrates eco-conscious craftsmanship.
While month-on-month (MoM) growth may have been stable, Royal Enfield’s double-digit YoY gains and extraordinary export performance position the brand for a promising fiscal year ahead. With growing popularity in global markets, sustainability-focused initiatives, and iconic riding events, the company continues to strengthen its legacy as a lifestyle motorcycle brand.
