Bajaj has officially launched the updated 2025 Dominar 400 in India, priced at ₹2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). While the motorcycle retains its signature design and powerful 373cc engine, the 2025 update brings a few key changes aimed at enhancing the bike’s touring and tech appeal. Here’s a breakdown of everything new on the latest Dominar.
2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 Update Highlights
Gets a new LCD instrument console with Bluetooth
Now features four ride modes with ride-by-wire tech
Revised handlebar position for better touring comfort
Rear luggage rack with integrated GPS mount included
The biggest visual and functional upgrade comes in the form of a brand-new LCD instrument cluster. This unit has been borrowed from the recently launched Pulsar NS400Z and replaces the older twin-display setup seen on the previous Dominar models.
The new single-screen cluster displays more information in a crisp, easy-to-read layout and now supports Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can pair their smartphones for turn-by-turn navigation and other key updates, which adds significant value, especially for touring enthusiasts.
For the first time ever, the Dominar 400 now features ride-by-wire technology. This allows Bajaj to introduce four selectable riding modes: Rain, Road, Sport, and Off-road. These modes adjust throttle sensitivity and ABS intervention, enabling the rider to adapt the bike’s behavior to different terrains and weather conditions. This inclusion not only makes the motorcycle more versatile but also adds an extra layer of safety and control.
Improved Ergonomics and Touring Utility
Touring has always been a core part of the Dominar’s DNA, and Bajaj has doubled down on that with the 2025 version. The handlebar has been slightly repositioned to offer a more upright and relaxed riding stance, which should reduce fatigue over long journeys. In addition, the bike now comes standard with a rear luggage carrier. What makes it even more practical is the integrated GPS mount on the carrier, allowing riders to use external navigation devices without the need for aftermarket solutions.
Same Heart, Smarter Package
While the 2025 Dominar doesn’t get any mechanical upgrades to its engine or chassis, the new feature set makes it more appealing without significantly raising the price. The 373cc liquid-cooled engine continues to produce around 40PS and 35Nm, making it one of the most performance-focused tourers in its segment.
Bookings for the 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 are now open across India, and deliveries are expected to commence soon. With its updated tech, improved ergonomics, and practical add-ons, the Dominar is now more ready than ever for the long haul.
