What’s New in the 2025 Dominar 250?
The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 doesn’t get a radical design overhaul but packs in useful enhancements that elevate the overall riding experience. At the heart of these updates is a brand-new colour LCD instrument cluster with bonded-glass construction, giving the bike a more premium and modern feel. The integrated speedo flap above the console adds a touch of sportiness and helps reduce glare under direct sunlight.

Another key highlight is the addition of four ABS modes, which are now accessible via an updated mechanical throttle body setup. This gives riders the flexibility to adjust braking performance according to varying road and weather conditions — a first for the segment at this price point.
Better Comfort and Touring Convenience

The new ergonomically-designed handlebar now offers a more relaxed riding triangle, making long-distance touring more comfortable than before. Additionally, Bajaj has equipped the Dominar 250 with a rear carrier that also includes a GPS mount — a thoughtful touch for tourers who prefer smartphone navigation or standalone GPS units.
The switchgear too has been updated and is now more intuitive, making it easier to scroll through the new display menus on the go.
Engine & Performance Specs
Powering the 2025 Dominar 250 is the same 248.77cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It produces 26.6 bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 23.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine continues to be mated to a six-speed gearbox and comes with a slipper clutch for smoother downshifts and reduced wheel hop under aggressive braking.
Suspension, Brakes & Wheels
In terms of hardware, the Dominar 250 retains its premium 37mm upside-down front forks and rear monoshock, which deliver a plush yet controlled ride. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and gets single disc brakes at both ends, now assisted by the newly introduced multi-mode ABS system for added safety.
With these updates, the 2025 Bajaj Dominar 250 now positions itself as a more tech-rich and rider-friendly option in the 250cc segment. The combination of comfort, performance, and new features makes it a strong contender for both daily commuters and weekend tourers looking for a reliable companion.
